Frequently Asked Questions

What changes can I expect in the 6th edition of the North American Cambridge Latin Course?

The new edition of the course will provide your learners with a more diverse and nuanced picture of Roman civilization and history, while continuing to equip them with clear and extensive language support. The reading method will continue to be at the heart of the series. We will be sharing more detailed information throughout the year, so stay tuned.

Will there be training on how to teach the new edition of the Course?

Cambridge University Press has always provided fully-subsidized training and support on how to best teach the North American Cambridge Latin Course, and this will continue with the new edition. More information will be shared closer to the time of publication.

When will I be able to view a sample of the new edition?

We are aiming to be able to share samples with you at the ACL conference this summer. Samples will also be shared via email for those of you who aren’t attending the conference in person.

My school/district needs to allocate the funding for all resources at the same time. Will I be able to pre-order Units 3 and 4 in 2023, at the same time as ordering Units 1 and 2?

We understand that having this option is important. We are finalizing details about pre-ordering and will be in touch in due course with more information.

Where should I go if I have further questions?

If you have further questions not covered here, please reach out to Samantha Radovich: samantha.radovich@cambridge.org, the US Latin Education Specialist at Cambridge University Press.
